The Inspector allows you adjust the properties of the currently selected object. In Animate mode, it only displays properties that can be animated.
Use the align buttons to align your current selection to the artboard, to the bounding box of selected items, or to a specific item.
If only one object is selected, it will be aligned relative to the artboard.
If you have multiple objects selected, they will align relative to the bounding box of all selected items.
To align your selection to a specific item:
Select all the items you want to align (including the target item).
Click a second time on the target item. The selection outline will appear thicker on this item.
Now when you click the alignment buttons, the selected items will align to the target item.
Most objects in Flare have transform properties, so this section will usually always be available at the top of the Inspector. Transform properties include Translation, Rotation, and Scale. Procedural shapes also have Width and Height properties (e.g. Rectangles and Ellipses).
In the Inspector, just below the Transform Properties mentioned above, you'll find a dropdown named Freeze. This allows you to freeze the transformations of either Joints or Images, so that the hierarchical positions of other objects are frozen in world space while you adjust the transform properties of a selected object.
Enable Freeze Joints to make adjustments to your bones without affecting the position of other bones in the chain.
This is an easy way to adjust the length of your bones if you didn't line them up quite right when you first created them.
Enable Freeze Images to reposition bones without moving child images.
Aside from typing values directly in an input field, you can make quick adjustments by clicking and dragging up and down.
